Since 1974, Kingston City FC has been a proud cornerstone of football in Melbourne's south-east. Established by members of the local Greek-Australian community in Clarinda, our club began with a simple vision: to bring people together through a shared passion for the beautiful game. Over more than five decades, that vision has grown into a thriving football community that welcomes players, families, volunteers, and supporters from all backgrounds.
Originally known as Clarinda Soccer Club, the club laid strong foundations through years of hard work, resilience, and community spirit. In 1982, we moved to our home at The Grange Reserve in Clayton South, where generations of players have developed their skills, built lifelong friendships, and proudly represented the red and white.
Throughout our history, Kingston City FC has earned a reputation for determination and perseverance. The club achieved back-to-back promotions in 2004 and 2005, culminating in a State League Division One championship and promotion to the Victorian Premier League. While there have been challenges along the way, our club has consistently demonstrated the resilience to rebuild, grow, and compete.
One of our proudest moments came in 2016, when Kingston City secured promotion to Victoria's top tier in dramatic fashion, with a last-minute goal on the final day of the season sealing our place among the state's elite clubs. That achievement embodied everything Kingston City stands for: belief, determination, and never giving up.
Today, Kingston City FC is much more than a senior football club. We are a player development pathway, a family club, and a community hub. From our youngest MiniRoos to aspiring NPL players and senior squads, we are committed to creating an environment where players can develop their football skills, confidence, character, and love for the game.
Our focus extends beyond results on the pitch. We strive to build respectful, resilient, and community-minded individuals who represent our club values every time they wear the Kingston City badge.
Nestled in Clayton South, The Grange Reserve has been the heart of Kingston City FC for more than 40 years. Match days at The Grange bring together players, families, volunteers, and supporters in an atmosphere that reflects the passion and pride of our club.
As we look ahead, Kingston City FC remains committed to building a sustainable and successful future for football in Kingston. We continue to invest in player development, coaching excellence, community engagement, and opportunities for the next generation to thrive.
Whether you are a player, coach, parent, volunteer, sponsor, or supporter, you are part of the Kingston City FC family.
